Underscore of the problem is the lack of a clear and effective role for youth and women under the transitional government in terms of actual political participation and decision-making and the fields of education, health, environment, economic empowerment, human rights and law, political participation
Peace and conflict resolution There is also a gender gap in political participation as women in Sudan –Eastern Sudan culture were not oriented towards political participation and or other activities outside the domestic environment
